Rain postpones search for missing toddler
NOTTINGHAM – Yesterday's rainy weather prevented investigators from
searching a wooded site here for the body of little

Selena Rivera Helton.
The 20-month-old child disappeared Aug. 10, 1999, after her father, Robert
Rivera , snatched her from a babysitter's home.
The little girl was last seen around 7 p.m. with her father at the Sunoco
Station at routes 1 and 100 in Chadds Ford.
Investigators and cadaver-sniffing dogs planned to search a one-quarter
mile area near the Herr's Potato Chip property in Chester County.
The search area is about a half-hour's ride from the Sunoco station.
Rivera , 33, of Chichester Avenue in Upper Chichester's
Boothwyn section, is facing first-degree murder charges and a possible
death sentence in connection with the child's disappearance and apparent
murder.
